About Ilyana Romanovsky

After completing my undergraduate degree in Biology and Neuroscience at the University of Chicago, I went on to earn my master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an APA-accredited graduate program at Saint Mary’s College of California. I am currently a registered Marriage and Family Therapy Intern working in Melinda White's private practice. I completed my graduate training at an outpatient clinic in San Mateo, working primarily with adults diagnosed with dual disorders. Previous to county work, I provided therapy and assessment for children and adolescents with anxiety, mood disorders and behavioral issues in close collaboration with psychiatrists, teachers, physicians and family members. Under Melinda White's supervision, I hold regular office hours on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays, providing services to children, adolescents and adults.

In addition to private practice work, I hold the position of a mental health clinician at John Muir Health in Concord, CA. In this capacity, I provide a variety of mental health diagnostic and treatment services to clients in an inpatient hospital setting. Under general supervision, I participate as a member of a program team and have treatment responsibilities for selected cases. Additional treatment considerations include work with substance use, psychoeducation and crisis intervention.
